Is GNM banned in 2021?

2018 that the GNM Training Programme shall be phased out by 2020-21. Currently, there are approximately 3215 GNM Nursing Schools that produce 1.2 lakhs Nurses in a year which are found suitable by Indian Nursing Council as on 31.03. No admission will be made to GNM programme in 2021-22 academic years and thereafter.
