The The 1050 doesn’t meet the minimum spec of both the Oculous rift and the HTC vive. The 1050ti however meets the new minimum spec of the Oculus Rift, but not its recommend specifications. It doesn’t make the grade for the HTC vive as well. You need a GTX 1060 or RX480 to meet the recommended spec for both.
