Is Harvard need-based financial aid?

Our aid is entirely need-based, and eligibility is determined in the same manner for all admitted students regardless of nationality or citizenship.

Is Harvard Extension School only for Harvard students?

The school primarily caters to adult learners and offers more than 900 on-campus and online courses. While most courses have open enrollment, admission to a degree program requires specific grades in Harvard coursework and acceptance of a formal application.

Can anyone go to Harvard Extension School?

Anyone can sign up for an undergraduate Harvard Extension course at any time. If you want to enroll in the degree program, however, you must take three courses and earn at least a B in each. That’s it — no consideration of high school transcripts or SAT and ACT scores.
