Is it compulsory to stay in hostel in IIM Indore for IPM?

It is compulsory in IIM Indore to stay in hostels as it is under the rules of IIM Indore. The MBA program of IIM Indore is a full residential program, that means you need to stay in hostels.

What can I do after IPM?

To sync, after the end of each year, a student goes for different internship programmes. Students of IPM also have the opportunity to go for sabbatical for a maximum of two years. These two years may be used to acquire experience, earn or anything else that would help a student grow.

After the enactment of iim bill which was passed on 31 Jan 2017, iim can award degrees. From 2018 Batch onwards, ipm students will be awarded with a dual degree. PLS NOTE, IPM students will not be awarded with BBA at undergraduate level, rather they will be awarded with BA (FOUNDATION IN MANAGEMENT) and then mba.

What is the duration of the iPM programme?

The Programme consists of 15 terms spread over a period of 5 years, with each year having 3 terms of 3 months. IPM is in two parts. The first three years build a foundation, and the last two years focus on management.

What is the difference between IGNOU and IIM Indore for IPM?

IPM students, on the other hand, get an IPM diploma. IGNOU is only a formality to get a degree because what all IIMs offer is a “diploma” and not a “degree”. IIM Indore has made sure that willing students don’t miss out on opportunities like UPSC and the likes just because of the absence of a degree.
