Beyond that, don’t wear any medals or an entire head-to-toe ensemble and you’ll be fine. As for military kitsch? Stuff that just says ARMY? Go for it!

Not at all. Recruiters often give out free t-shirts and other bling during parades and recruiting events. On the other hand, don’t tack on rank insignia or “Special Forces” badges or some other specific item. That ain’t yours to show. Some legitimate person might want to compare skills with you to see how real you are.
