The study of philosophy enhances a person’s problem-solving capacities. It helps us to analyze concepts, definitions, arguments, and problems. Philosophy provides training in the construction of clear formulations, good arguments, and appropriate examples. It, thereby, helps us to develop our ability to be convincing.

Does philosophy make you a better writer?

First and foremost, the ability to respect and GAIN UNDERSTANDING of others views will help you in your everyday life, and work life.

Why don’t more college students study philosophy?

(1) The students are too young and inexperienced about life to benefit from the study of philosophy. Philosophy is about the why, not the what, and college-aged students don’t know the what very well yet.
