Is it necessary to clear gate for ONGC?

1 – ONGC recruits using GATE scores (/1000). So firstly these below mentioned scores are minimum needed GATE scores for qualifying for interview. Interview call ratio is approx 1:5 depending on the number of vacancies against each post.

How GATE score is calculated on ONGC?

ONGC gives following weightage for selection on the day of result declaration :

  1. GATE Score (60\% weightage) For this divide your GATE score by 1000 and multiply by 60.
  2. Qualification (25\% weightage)
  3. Interview (15\% weightage)
