Is it okay to ship a package to UPS with USPS packaging?

Choose a box with enough room for cushioning material around the contents. Sturdy paperboard or corrugated fiberboard boxes are best for weights up to 10 pounds. If you are reusing a box, totally remove or obliterate all previous labels and markings with heavy black marker.
Can I use a USPS Priority box for first class?
Since USPS designates it for lightweight packages, it’s the perfect service for sending out items like clothes, jewelry, and more. However, while you can get free packaging supplies for Priority Mail on the USPS website, USPS doesn’t provide any boxes or envelopes for First Class Package Service.
Can I use a USPS priority box in a u-UPS package?
UPS will take boxes that USPS will not unless the marking on the box are covered. However, some have suggested turning the Priority box inside out. That will only work with the old Priority boxes.
