Is it safe to take Lamictal and Seroquel together?

No interactions were found between Lamictal and Seroquel. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult your healthcare provider.

What medications should not be taken with Seroquel?

They should not be used in combination with quetiapine:

  • aprepitant.
  • azole antifungal medicines such as itraconazole, ketoconazole, fluconazole.
  • macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin, clarithromycin.
  • cobicistat or protease inhibitors for HIV infection such as ritonavir, saquinavir, atazanavir.

What is Dopaquel 25mg used for?

Dopaquel is a trade name for Quetiapine, a medicine intended for us in schizophrenia, and Bipolar Disorder. It has not been recommended for use in insomnia. It is often used in doses around 200 mg a day, even 300 mg , though it is usual to gradually build up to that from a starting dose of some 25 mg a day.

Is 25 mg of Seroquel a lot?

The usual therapeutic dose range for the approved indications is 400–800 mg/day. The 25 mg dose has no uses that are evidence based other than for dose titration in older patients.

Lamictal (lamotrigine) and Seroquel (quetiapine) are used to treat bipolar disorders. Lamictal is also used alone or in combination with other anti-seizure medications for treating certain types of seizures.

Adults not taking valproic acid (Depakote®), carbamazepine (Tegretol®), phenobarbital (Luminal®), phenytoin (Dilantin®), or primidone (Mysoline®)—At first, 25 mg of lamotrigine once a day for 2 weeks, then 50 mg once a day for 2 weeks. After this, your doctor may gradually increase your dose as needed.

Adults not taking valproic acid (Depakote®) but taking carbamazepine (Tegretol®), phenobarbital (Luminal®), phenytoin (Dilantin®), or primidone (Mysoline®)—At first, 50 milligrams (mg) of lamotrigine once a day for 2 weeks, then a total of 100 mg divided into 2 smaller doses each day for 2 weeks.

Can I take lamotrigine If I have epilepsy (epilepsy)?

If you have epilepsy, it’s very important that it’s treated during pregnancy as seizures can harm you and your unborn baby. If you’re pregnant, or trying to get pregnant, and taking lamotrigine, you’re recommended to take a higher dose of folic acid, a vitamin that helps your baby grow normally.
