Is it worth buying a giclee print?

A fine art giclee print is a valid investment when the cost of an original artwork is too high. It’s also a fabulous option for artists looking to offer a lower price point to customers, while maintaining the quality and originality of their work.

Are Giclee prints expensive?

Embellished giclées are generally sold for a price between a simple print and an original piece. Because embellishments make the work more original, it becomes more valuable and rare. At recent auctions, giclée prints have been sold for thousands of dollars, some as much as $22,800, as in the case of Wolfgang Tillmans.
