Is it worth to buy BMW G310R?

At Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), there is no doubt that the G 310 R is priced on the higher side. Adding to the problems for the baby BMW is the fact that the KTM 390 Duke is cheaper than the G 310 R by more than Rs 50,000 and offers great value for money with more power and better features.

Is BMW G310R good for long ride?

Yes you can use G310R for touring, you just need to put bags on it, if you don’t want to do that then tie the bags with rope or install a wind screen BMW won’t judge you for that.

Is BMW G310R good for touring?

The bike is comfortable cruising at 100-110 km/hr for the whole day. Cross the cruising limit and the vibrations get really really strong and the bike gets desperate to calm down. Summing up, leaving its weakness of picking up at low-end, it classifies as a city commuter as well as a long tourer.

Is BMW G310R BS6 worth it?

Also worth noting is the braking system, which has been improved significantly in the BS6 model. The revised system offers more feel through the levers, something that the BS4 version lacked. Not only this, the BS6 bike also has better progression and feedback.

How is g310r?

Although it gets raspy and sporty at higher speeds, I didn’t find it likeable at slow speeds. But when you start riding the G 310 R, its lively performance overshadows the gruff sound in no time. The motorcycle has a good grunt between 3,500rpm to 6,000rpm which makes it quite sprightly to ride in the city.

Is the KTM Duke 390 a good road bike?

The very first thing is that the Duke 390 is a street racer, it’s not designed to tour. The power that makes it fun also saps the mileage. You can safely go only about 250 km between fill-ups. The power makes it a little annoying in the first and second gears in start-stop traffic. Though, to be honest, this is an issue in the city as well.

How much does the new 390 Duke BS6 cost in India?

KTM is asking Rs 2.52 lakh, which is Rs 4,716 more to be exact, for the new 390 Duke BS6. The prices haven’t gone up drastically, making sure that it is still priced competitively in comparison to its rivals like the BMW G 310 R or the TVS Apache RR 310 BS6.

What is the breakdown service offered by KTM?

KTM has an EXCELLENT service network, making it easy to find a service station in most towns and cities. You can subscribe to Orange Assist, a breakdown service offered by KTM for Rs. 800 a year. Why is it not suited to touring?

Does the Kia 390 Duke have a quickshifter?

One of the highlights of the new 390 Duke is the addition of a bi-directional quickshifter. The system works well when you want to do clutchless shifts at moderate revs, but it doesn’t provide seamless shifts at revs closer to the redline.
