Is LLB evening valid?

Yes India we do have certain colleges that offer evening course but they are 3year LLB course. theu are offered by Delhi law academy. And they are approved by BCI. The eligibility criteria is that you need to have a under graduate or post graduate degree from a recognised university with minimum aggregate of 45\%.

Can LLB be done part time?

You cannot pursue an LLB degree in part time. The Bar Council of India does not recognise any part time Law programme in order to maintain the level for legal education. Hence no part time Law programme is recognised by BCI. You’ll have to go for a full time course.

Can you be a part time lawyer in India?

There are no part time LLB courses. The Bar Council of India has a strict rule that licence to practise would be given ONLY to those who have attended a full time course and maintained 75\% attendance throughout. Even LLM courses which aren’t full-time (like the one in Bombay University) are under the scanner.

Can one be a lawyer without law school?

Only four states—California, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington—allow potential law students to skip law school entirely. Three others—Maine, New York, and Wyoming—require some law school experience, but they allow an apprenticeship to substitute for one or two years of law school.

Can I practice law without a Practising certificate?

It is a criminal offence for a barrister without a practising certificate to provide legal services which are reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007. Core Duties 5 and 9 of the BSB Handbook apply to unregistered barristers at all times.

Can I practice law in India after graduation from UK university?

Most of the Indian Students who want to pursue Law in the UK often wonder if they can then practice in India after graduating. The answer is simply, yes you can! The Bar Council of India recognises a Law degree from 45 UK universities where you can study Law and practice later on in India.

Is there any evening law course available in Bangalore?

BCI has barred evening law classes, so be wary of these courses. You MAY not get a chance to practice law post graduation. Check & double check the validity of the course. Are there any law colleges in India that offer distance learning?

Under BCI norms, no law college in India is “officially” allowed to offer distance/part time LLB degree or to take classes in the evening. However, there are colleges which flouts these norms and take admission.
