Is Night shift mandatory in TCS?

Yes, freshers are allowed to do night shifts but this depends on the requirement of the project. If the project requires you to mandatorily work in night shift, you have to and if the project doesn’t have the requirement, even if you want to, you won’t be allowed to work.

What are the 3 shifts?

The “first shift” is in the morning, the “second shift” is in the afternoon and evening and the “third shift” is overnight. The “second shift”, also known as the swing shift in some places, is the work shift which takes place in the afternoon and evening.

Does TCS provide cab facility?

Yes, TCS offers buses and Cab services to the employees with a nominal charge of Rs 2000 per month. For female employees, they can avail cab facility on the requirement. Yes we have cab pick up and drop facility in TCS and TCS mainly takes care of Ladies protection.

What time is 1st 2nd and 3rd shift?

1st shift usually takes place between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. 2nd shift is worked between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. 3rd shift typically takes place between the hours of 12 a.m. and 8 a.m.

What are the shift timings in TCS for night shift?

Night shift :: 11 P.M to 8 A.M (Eligible for Night shift allowance and home pickup) p.s. – It varies from project to project. All the companies do not have fixed working hours. Its based on the client office hours. There isn’t any particular shift timings by TCS. It totally depends on the project you are in & what they demand.

What are the working hours of tctcs?

TCS doesn’t follow any particular shift. Being a service based company having clients from all over the globe, each project follows its own working shift depending upon its client. In my project, our shift is 12.30 pm to 10.30 pm during summers and 1.30 pm to 11.30 pm during winters depending upon Daylight Savings Time.

What are the working hours at TCS for a software engineer?

It totally depends on the project you are in & what they demand. Like if you are in a US based project, you will most likely to be called in 2:00pm to 11:00pm shift. However, this depends from project to project & client’s requirements. P.S. you will be anyhow completing 9hours of shift as per the TCS policy.

What are the different shifts in a construction site?

Morning shift (6:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m). Regular (9 a.m to 6 p.m) shift. Afternoon shift (12:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m). Night shift (9:30 p.m to 6:30 a.m). The timing may vary from place to place and project to project. It totally depends on your project and your luck in which you will be assigned. Mostly There are three shift timing here.
