Is plaster required on AAC block?

AAC blocks are wire cut and they have a plain surface. Due to this reason, plastering for internal walls is not required. Thus, wall putty and painting can be directly done. However, external plastering will be required.

Is one coat of putty enough?

One coat application is enough for the surface to be sealed as the second and third coat of putty makes a super smooth surface which is detrimental to grip of the exterior paint and thus reduces its performance.

How much wall putty is required?

Wall putty gives a perfect finish to the walls. It is typically done before the final colouring of walls. There are two types of wall putty, namely acrylic wall putty and cement-based wall putty. Acrylic wall putty comes in the form of a paste, and you can directly apply it on the walls.
