Is Slovak language similar to German?

Like other Slavic languages, Slovak is a fusional language with a complex system of morphology and relatively flexible word order. Its vocabulary has been extensively influenced by Latin and German and other Slavic languages.

I believe Czech and Slovak to be equally difficult. The Slovak language is a little bit easier at basic and intrmediate level (fewer case suffixes) however it turns into a more difficult language at advanced and advanced plus level (many grammatical rules that the Czech language doesn’t have at all).
