Is SWIFT code same for all branches in India?

Yes. Because every branch do not have the swift code. Mostly the head offices have the swift code. So whenever you will do a transaction you will need IFSC of specific branch and SWIFT of that branch through which your money will be transferred.

Is SWIFT code available for all branches?

SBI also has several branches in each state too. But if we consider any state, out of 100s or 200s of branches in a state, only 20 or 30 branches will have the Swift BIC code.

Why do some banks not have SWIFT codes?

Is SWIFT code specific to branch?
