Is the any night shift allowance in TCS?

Yes, for B.E/B. Tech and above employee, TCS provide Rs. 360 per night and for other employee like BSC, TCS provide Rs. 200 per night.

How is night shift allowance calculated?

A night shift allowance will be equal to 15\% of the normal cost to company remuneration will be paid where at least half the shift falls between the hours of 18:00 and 06:00. Should the shift be deemed to be worked on a public holiday, the employee will be paid double her basic hourly rate.

What is night time allowance?

201. Industrial employees working on night shifts are eligible for Night Duty allowance on the basis of weightage of 10 minutes for every hour of night duty performed between 22.00 hours and 6.00 hours at the rates specified in the Government orders Issued from time to time.

Yes, for B.E/B.Tech and above employee, TCS provide Rs. 360 per night and for other employee like BSC, TCS provide Rs. 200 per night. Other than above theTCS give the Rs. 100 as night transport allowance per night.

Who is not eligible for the night shift allowance?

Employees who are Senior Managers and above are not eligible for this allowance. The Night Shift Allowance Program is not applicable to employees who are required to work beyond normal working hours due to flexi-timings as agreed with their Managers or due to late sitting.

What is shift allowance?

In some services companies, shift allowance is paid only for the night shift. While in other companies, Shift allowance is paid only to employees working in Shift A, Shift B and Shift C The employee has to put in 4 hours or more of work during a particular shift, and only then will the employee be eligible for the Shift allowance.
