Is the R6 faster than the ZX6R?

The ZX-6R engine is so strong that from 70 mph in sixth gear the ZX-6R can out accelerate the R6 even if the R6 was using fifth gear. From then on the R6 gets to 160 mph in 32.92 seconds with the ZX-6R really starting to gap the R6 with a time of 22.68 seconds and almost 10 seconds faster.

Why zx6r is discontinued?

For the record, the Ninja ZX-6R was discontinued in the Indian market in early 2020 as the motorcycle would only comply with the BS4 emission norms. However, it is expected that the 2022 Ninja ZX-6R will be with the BS6 compliant engine and is unlikely to receive a big bump in pricing over the previous model.

Should I buy a 2015 Kawi ZX6R or R6?

I own a 2015 Kawi ZX6R. On paper, and in reviews it’s considered to be the better all-around bike than an R6. R6’s are known to be great machines on a track. Unless you are a pro rider or an amateur racer with lots of experience and/or talent, you are not going to come close to exploring the limits of both bikes. I like my Kawi.

Should I get a Kawasaki or a Yamaha?

Yamaha has a reputation of being a little better at handling while Kawasaki is known for speed. The bike you feel the better on and more comfortable is the better bike. My son rides a ZX6R and loves it.

What size tires do I need for my ZX-6R?

Tank size is nearly identical at 4.5 for the ZX-6R and 4.6-gallons for the R6. The Metzler Racetec RR K1 tires provided ample grip on both bikes and inspired confidence throughout the day. There are other factors to feeling comfortable at the track aside from the bikes themselves, of course.
