Is weight important for AFMC?

The height and weight requirements will depend on the age, body build and racial characteristics as per standards laid down for Armed Forces. The minimum requirement is as follows: Girls standards: In case, of female candidates, a minimum height of 144 cms and a minimum weight of 36 Kgs is essential.

Is height important for AFMC?

As per the brochure: Females: Minimum height of 144 cms and minimum weight of 36 Kgs is essential. Males: Height below 157.5 cms (152.5 cms for Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwali) and weight below 47 kgs will not be accepted irrespective of age and other factors.

How do I get medically fit for AFMC?

1. To be declared fit for admission, the candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty in the Armed Forces. 2. Medical Examination will be carried out by a Board of Officers at AFMC Pune, prior to admission to the College.

What is screening test in AFMC?

In AFMC MBBS screening test 2020 candidates will have to appear for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning(ToELR) and Psychological Assessment Test (PAT). They will also be personally interviewed by the Board of Officers.

What is the marking scheme of AFMC MBBS screening test?

As per the marking scheme, each correct answer will be given four marks whereas for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted. According to the exam pattern of AFMC MBBS, the screening test is held in three stages. Candidates who have appeared and qualified the NEET entrance exam will only be selected to attend the screening test.

When will the screening test be held at AFMC Pune?

The screening test will be held in fourth week of July 2021. Candidates will be required to report to OIC Admission Cell (Office of the Dean), AFMC, Pune as per the schedule. No separate call letters for screening will be sent to the candidates.

The authorities will release two separate AFMC merit list. The initial merit list is released on the basis of NEET score and the final AFMC merit list is based on the score secured in the screening test, interview and NEET marks. How much marks are required to get admission in AFMC?

The interview for Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) will be held for 50 marks. The final merit list will be based on the marks secured in the written examination and interview.
