What are the basic beatbox sounds?

The most well-known are the sounds which imitate drums – the sounds which first gave beatboxing its name – but a beatboxer can also imitate many other instruments, from the guitar to saxophone, and produce scratches and many other sounds. The basic sounds are hi-hat, snare drum and kick drum (or bass drum).
