What can you bring to AIT army?

Soldiers in AIT should bring their military-issued clothing, shaving and hygiene materials, towels and washcloths, and two sets of casual civilian clothing. Personal computers, tablets, cell phones and other electronic devices are authorized for use once a Soldier reaches Tier 1 status.

What is considered contraband in basic training?

Items you may not bring: Knives, guns, brass knuckles or anything that may be used as a weapon. Dice, playing cards or anything that may be used to gamble. Magazines, books, crossword puzzles or any other media that is not of a religious nature. Cigarettes, dip, lighters or any other tobacco products.

Can I bring body wash to basic training?

Per an article from Military One Source, toiletries you’re allowed to bring to basic training include “a toothbrush with a case, hairbrush or comb, one washcloth and towel, antiperspirant, shower shoes, toothpaste, dental floss, shampoo, soap and a soap case, a disposable razor and shaving cream.”
