The terminal has a component called BTrade on the system. It is similar to a brokerage service and trades mostly equities. For interbank forex trading they mostly use the Bloomberg Messenger, the software is similar to IMs but it has added ticketing systems. Forex as a platform ECN is also available but not as liquid as Reuters.
Do I need a Bloomberg Terminal in NYC to work?
