What happened to the ACR?

As of 2020, the ACR is no longer in production due to Bushmaster’s shuttering after parent company Remington declared bankruptcy.

Is ACR reliable?

The core concept of ACR is not to be more accurate or reliable than the other rifles you mentioned. I never fired one but based on that I read it’s ok, and excels in modularity. But bear in mind it is Magpul’s first attempt of making a rifle. Colt M4 is a reliable and quite accurate.

Is Remington still making guns?

An investment company called The Roundhill Group LLC purchased the Remington firearms factories last fall for $13 million.
