Each tyre has a life and should be replaced on time to reduce chances of blow-outs & failures, etc. Ideally a 4-5 year period and 50Kkm (unless tread wears out earlier) is recommended but varies depending on car. 80Kkm is really pushing it though – I am assuming more of relaxed cruising on the highways has helped increase tyre life.
