What happens in Imotc?
IMOTC shall be the first of its type to prepare the participants for INMO and motivate the students in problem-solving in mathematics at the high school level. The camp is designed with invited research lectures, discussion, and practice tests.
What is Inmotc?
The International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC) The qualifying students are invited to the International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camp (IMOTC), a one-month mathematics camp hosted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in Mumbai.
Who can give RMO?
The RMO eligibility criteria specify that any student belonging to class 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 who have already cleared the Pre RMO can take the RMO exam.
Who Organises INMO?

The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO 2021) examination is organised by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education – Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (HBCSE – TIFR). The INMO 2021 will be a four-hour examination with 6 questions.
When will INMO 2020 exam be held?
The INMO 2020 exam will be held on 19th January as announced. All are advised to only refer to this website for any updates regarding the Indian Mathematical Olympiad. In question number 6 of the INMO2019 held on 20th January, 2019, a hypothesis was unfortunately left out inadvertently. As a result, the problem was incomplete.
What does INMO stand for?
The regional coordinators shall not declare the results in their respective regions prior to that date. Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) : The INMO will be held on the third Sunday of January (January 19, 2020) from 12.00 noon to 4.00 p.m.
Will INMO awardees have to appear for IMOTC 2021?
All the INMO awardees from Classes 8, 9, 10 and 11 selected for IMOTC 2020, will have to appear for INMO 2021 to be eligible for participation in IMOTC 2021. However, they may directly appear for INMO without going through PRMO and RMO.
What happens if a hypothesis is left out in INMO 2019?
In question number 6 of the INMO2019 held on 20th January, 2019, a hypothesis was unfortunately left out inadvertently. As a result, the problem was incomplete. A suitable resolution of the problem will be worked out in consultation with examiners and students’ efforts will be taken care of during the evaluation.
