What happens when a soldier goes MIA?
Soldiers designated with Captive, Missing, or Missing in Action (MIA) status are entitled to receive the pay and allowances to which entitled when the status began or to which the Soldiers later become entitled.

Once captured by the enemy, prisoners of war are subject to the laws of the armed force that is holding them. They are under the control of the detaining power and their detention is legal; as such, their escape is a breach of that law. So if they escape, they can be punished.
What is the life of a soldier like?
Not only did soldiers face the possibility of getting killed in battle, their daily lives were full of hardships. They had to deal with hunger, bad weather, poor clothing, and even boredom between battles. Soldiers were woken at dawn to begin their day. At night some soldiers would have guard duty.
How does the soldier like to be remembered after his death?
Answer: If at all he dies in the battle, he would like to be remembered as an unforgettable soldier who never feared death. He would be given flowers of love and buried in some comer of land which is part of England.
