What is a normal NIBP?

Normal: Below 120. Elevated: 120-129. Stage 1 high blood pressure (also called hypertension): 130-139. Stage 2 hypertension: 140 or more. Hypertensive crisis: 180 or more.

  2. high blood pressure is considered to be 140/90mmHg or higher.
  3. low blood pressure is considered to be 90/60mmHg or lower.

Is diastolic 99 too high?

normal: less than 120/80 mm Hg. pre-hypertensive: systolic between 120-139 or diastolic between 80-89. stage 1 hypertension: systolic 140-159 or diastolic 90-99. stage 2 hypertension: systolic 160 or higher or diastolic 100 or higher.
