What is ACC entry in Indian Army?

Army Cadet College (ACC) Entry After qualifying in written examination conducted by the Military Training Directorate, the aspirants are screened by SSB and the Medical Board. Successful candidates are trained at Army Cadet College Wing, Dehradun, for three years at the end of which they get a graduation degree.

What is ACC in IMA?

The Army Cadet College (ACC) is an defence service training institution which trains defence service personnel for the Indian Army. ACC has now been rebranded as the Siachen Battalion at the IMA. The selection for admission to ACC is based on a written test and subsequent selection via Services Selection Board.

For OTA Cadets, they are required to open a salary account in the SBI bank available in the OTA premises. Direct Entry GCs will be given a fixed stipend of Rupees 56100/- per month during their entire training period at IMA. Service GCs (ACC Cadets) will continue to draw pay of their Rank while at the IMA.
