What is AOSP custom ROM?

AOSP or Android Open Source Project is a kind of custom which is a base for all kind of ROMs. It is highly stable and safe, but it doesn’t provide any tweaks or customisation options to you. CyanogenMod and Lineage OS are same custom ROM development agency. This is most popular and useful custom ROM.

Is lineage OS Aosp?
