What is AUX in Excel?

“aux” is the name of a sheet in the current excel file. if you do not see that sheet, it may be hidden by the author of the file. “J22” is the cell name in the sheet named “aux” the formula “=aux! J22” shows you the value in the cell J22 of the “aux” sheet.
