What is C1S paperboard?

What is CCNB paperboard?

Description of CCNB. CCNB is short for Clay Coated News Back (duplex paperboard), white clay on high and brown/grey back, it’s made up of 100\% recycled fibers. So you can easily see that, the paper board called CCNB paper, and the thick board called CCNB paperboard or Greyboard.

What is C1S in printing?

C1S refers to a paper stock that is coated only on one (1) side, versus C2S where the paper is coated on both sides. With C1S, the backside is completely uncoated, providing an excellent surface if a lot of writing is intended on that side.

What is the difference between paperboard and cardboard?

Paperboard is thicker than average paper, but it is still just one layer. Cardboard is three layers of heavy paper, two flat with a wavy one in the middle. Because they have different layers of paper and different weights, these two products cannot be recycled together or in the same way.
