What is CC and BCC in MA?

Carbon Copy (CC) is used to send a copy of the email to someone who needs to be involved in the conversation, without needing to actively participate. Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) is used for sharing a copy of the email with someone without letting the primary recipient know about it.

What is a Bcc recipient in an email?

If you add a recipient’s name to the Bcc (blind carbon copy) box in an email message, a copy of the message is sent to the recipient that you specify. Any recipients added to the Bcc box will not be shown to any other recipients who receive the message.

What is BCC in Outlook 365?

Outlook 365 Email addresses in the Bcc field are not visible to the To and Cc fields’ recipients and each other. Enable the Bcc (blind carbon copy) field in the Outlook message window and add her/his address to Bcc to send a copy of the email to the recipient that should not be visible to other recipients.

What is the Bcc field used for in email?

Finally, the Bcc field (Blind Carbon Copy) is used when you want other people to receive the message, but you don’t want the other recipients to know they got it. When people get an e-mail, they’ll see all the people in the To and Cc lines – but not Bcc.
