No. Lawyers are not Gazetted officers as they are not govt servants i.e. they are not recruited through any examination conducted by high Court or govt. In lower courts, Civil Judge(JD) and above are Gazetted Officers.

Eligibility : Candidate must be Gr. B Officer of engineering department holding identical grade in railways or regular AEN and having experience in supervising fabrication, erection and launching of steel FOBs / ROBs / Track Bridges of 3 years and with minimum suburban experience of 2 years.
