What is difference between BSc and engineering?

Answer. Btec means bachelor of technology, it consists of different branch of engineering like mechanical, electrical etc it is 4 years course and BSc means bachelor of science here u study a subject like Maths, physics etc it is 3 year course.

Is BSc It is an engineering degree?

In India, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology(BSc IT) is a 3-year undergraduate program. The Bachelor of Information Science awarded is referred to as B. Tech or B.E. One can apply for BSc IT after completing HSC or after completing Engineering Diploma.

Can I do engineering after BSc?

Yes It is possible to join B. Tech course after completing B.Sc through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering collges in India. The lateral entry is only given to candidates who have either completed diploma in Engineering or B.Sc course.

If you want to study more and dream a beautiful future you must go through BSc with a good Hons. like PHY/CHEM/MATH. It may take some more time. If you have a good academic career and a good knowledge you have a better future. I don’t say Engineering is worse. But you may face a large competition with a insecure future.

Is BTech better than BSC for Science aspirants?

If you look at it from a wider perspective, BTech as a degree is a bit better than B.Sc. for science aspirants. The bachelor of technology is a professional degree with many real world career prospects across a number of technical fields. Furthermore, BTech can be completed in a span of 4 years while B.Sc. takes around 3 years to complete.

Should I Choose BSc or BTech after 12th?

There is a lot of misconceptions and confusions among students when it comes to choosing BSc or Btech after 12th. A common misconception is BTech (engineering) is better than BSc (pure science), while a few confident students stick to BSc as their career goals are clear.
