1 Gratuity is a defined benefit scheme and is accrued based on an actuarial valuation at the balance sheet date, carried out by an independent actuary. MindTree has an employees’ gratuity fund managed by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company and SBI Life Insurance Company.

I don’t think gratuity will be shown as a monthly deduction! For the same reason your monthly salary won’t be one twelfth of the CTC! Gratuity is part of your CTC. 4.81\% of basic pay will be deducted as gratuity.
