What is IMS DB in Infosys?
IMS (Information Management System) is a database and transaction management system that was first introduced by IBM in 1968. In IMS DB, the data is organized into a hierarchy. The data in each level is dependent on the data in the next higher level.

- Directly through the DRA by issuing CICS EXEC DL/I calls.

IMS is basically Infrastructure management services and IVS is independent validation service. I don’t have a full proof knowledge about IMS apart from that it is related to some kind of networking. I can definitely share some insights on IVS.
What is the best stream to join in Infosys?
No stream is good or bad in Infosys . Because at the end of the day you are going to be in some support project (Very few people get chance to do developing). I have my friends who got trained in JAVA/SAP and now they are into support or testing projects (Atleast we are going to work on what we got trained)
