Re: whats phuket like??? phuket is a great stop over between bangkok and krabi. we actually went from bangkok to phuket took a ferry to krabi stopping in ko phi phi and then back to bangkok. certain parts of phuket can be relaxing but i definitely agree that patong is definitely the high energy part of phuket area.
