What is the difference between floor area and plot area?

he floor area is the summation of the horizontal areas of all the floors in the building or your bungalow, which also includes the basement area. The complete area that is under your ownership or between the fencing is called plot area.

Plot Area: The area which is surrounded by a boundary line (fencing) is called as Plot Area. In simple words, the total area which belongs to you in a city or town is termed as a Plot area. The term Plot area is majorly used in gated communities, townships and named as Plot Area 1, PA-2 etc.

What does plot area mean?

Plot areas are the segments of a chart where the data are visualized. The plot area in a chart or graph in spreadsheet programs such as Excel and Google Sheets refers to the area of the chart that graphically displays the data being charted. In the case of a column or bar graph, it includes the axes.
