What is the main difference between a rocket and the space shuttle?

The space shuttle launched like a rocket. But it landed like a glider airplane. The solid rocket boosters and the main engines on the orbiter helped the shuttle blast off from Earth like a rocket.

Is Starship a two stage rocket?

The SN10 has been built as part of a series of four prototypes, which is designed to prove a new method of rocket recovery. SN10 is a prototype steel rocket with a reusable upper stage measuring 50 m (165 ft) tall, 9 m (30 ft) wide, and some 1,350 metric tons – as much as Falcon Heavy – when fully fuelled.
