What is the name of mother in Indian language?

In Indian language there are different names for mother. In Odia we call- Bou (The Sweetest name ever) and with Bou we add lo, it makes “Bou lo”. Maa- It is the common word in all states. Since people have already answered for other Indian languages, I’ll write how to say “Mother” in my native language Odia. The purest Odia word for Mother would be — ବୋଉ ( bou). The common Odia word for Mother would be — ମା’ ( maa ).

Generally speaking Indian’s the Asians refer to women as Amma and address them as Amma out of respect. This is a cultural habit and is seen mostly with Indian background. I mean those who were born and brought up in India. Hope this helped !
