What is the point of do while 0?

You may see a do loop with the conditional expression set to a constant value of zero (0). This creates a loop that will execute exactly one time. This is a coding idiom that allows a multi-line macro to be used anywhere that a single statement can be used.

This can cause compilation warnings (and errors) and confuse people debugging the code. when defining macros instead of functions, programmers using that code expect them to work like functions and they do not.

What is the difference between while 0 and while 1?

Difference between while(1) and while(0) in C/C++ The while is a loop of C or C++. Using this loop we can check one condition, and the statements inside the loop will be executed while the condition is true. The while(1) or while(any non-zero value) is used for infinite loop.
