What is the process for BCA?

BCA Admission 2021 is granted through both merit-based and entrance exam-based admission processes. The minimum BCA eligibility criteria followed across all Top BCA Colleges is 50\% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with computer application/computer science as an additional or core subject.

Do we need entrance exam for BCA?

No there is no Entrance exam required for BCA. You can just walk into any college and get your admissions done. Few colleges like Christ, Jain might have an aptitude test.

Who is eligible for BCA?

BCA Eligibility The eligibility criteria for the BCA course is that the applicant must have completed 10+2 preferably in Commerce and some universities might also have their own specific entrance tests for this course. Major BCA entrance exams include IPU CET BCA, KIITEE BCA, LUCSAT BCA, etc.

Is BCA good after 12th?

For the candidates who want to pursue their future in the field of Science and Information Technology, both B. Tech IT and BCA can be a great choice after 12th. Both of the courses provide great career opportunities and an almost similar level of salary package for the candidates.

How many subjects are there in BCA?

Bachelor of Computer Application is usually divided into 3 years or 6 semesters. One year has two semesters and each semester comprises of 6 months. A person who is pursuing this course needs to study 6-7 subjects in each semester.

No, there is no physics in BCA.

Can I do BCA without Maths?

Yes. You can pursue BCA without maths and computer in class 12th. Maths and Computer are not compulsory for BCA.
