What is the purpose of Aibe exam?

The objective of The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India.

Who are eligible for Aibe?

To appear in the AIBE XVI (16) 2021, the candidate must be a graduate in law. Undergraduates are not allowed to take the exam. There are no minimum marks criteria for appearing in the AIBE exam. Registration with a State Bar Council is mandatory.

What is the passing marks in Aibe exam?

Benefits of AIBE The Examination traces an applicant’s logical abilities and will test the basic knowledge of the law. After passing the examination successfully, the eligible applicant will be given a “Certificate of Practice” by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Can final year law students apply for Aibe?

Yes. The notification applies to students graduating from academic year 2009-10 onwards. All students graduating from academic year 2009-10 onwards have to appear for the All India Bar Examination in order to qualify to practice law in India.

How many times I can appear for Aibe?

B degree from any institution from any state which is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Minimum Marks: There will be no minimum marks criteria in the qualifying examination. Attempts: Candidates must appear as many times as it requires. There will be no restriction on numbers of attempts.

AIBE Exam Pattern 2021 – Important Highlights There is no negative marking in AIBE. Candidates may answer all questions without worrying about the negative marking. Each question carries one mark. To qualify AIBE, general category candidates will have to score at least 40\% marks.

Does bar exam have negative marking?

The paper will carry of total 100 questions, each question will carry 1 mark and there will be no negative marking. Candidates will get 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam, and the paper will have multiple choice questions wherein 4 options will be given and candidates will have to choose one.
