What is the purpose of All India Bar Examination?

The objective of The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is to examine an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India.

Who can apply for All India Bar Examination?

To appear in the AIBE XVI (16) 2021, the candidate must be a graduate in law. Undergraduates are not allowed to take the exam. There are no minimum marks criteria for appearing in the AIBE exam. Registration with a State Bar Council is mandatory.

Is it necessary to give all India bar exam?

Ans – Yes, to practice law in any court of India, it is absolutely mandatory to clear AIBE. However, if the candidate has completed the graduation in law prior to the academic year 2009-10, he/she need not appear in AIBE.

Is All India Bar Examination tough?

The AIBE is not a tough exam to crack and you are not competing with anyone else for a rank or a seat. All you need is to score 40 marks and pass the exam. Relax, have a light dinner and sleep early. You will wake up fresh and sharp on the day of the exam.

Candidates should note that there is no upper or lower age limit to appear for AIBE Exam. They should also note that there is no restriction on the number of attempts for AIBE. One can appear for the AIBE exam any number of times.

To apply for AIBE (XVII) 2022 candidates have to follow some steps given below:

  2. Step 2: Registration.

  4. Step 4: Fee Payment.
  5. Step 5: Fill Fee Details.

It displays “To be declared later” Then Kindly wait as your result will be declared within 7-10 working days and you will be informed through SMS/Email/notification. ” “This is to inform all the candidates appearing for AIBE-XVI that the date for registration and last date of payment has been extended.
