What is the significance of Shadbala?

As the name suggests Shadbala means six fold strength. Although these strengths are combinedly used for finding the effect of planets on the lives of the natives, there is more use of the strengths and we get the clue of those uses from their names.

What does high Shadbala mean?

The exact potency or strength of a planet is determined by analysing its various positions in zodiac. These various positions are the various sources of strength known as Shadbala. Planets with high net Bala will have strong effects. These effects will be auspicious in most cases.
