What is the work of IOFS?

The main functions performed by IOFS officers while at the Indian Ordnance Factories include product research & development, project management, materials management, production planning and control, quality control, supplies management, industrial safety, labour welfare, personnel management, industrial relations.

How to become an IOFS officer?

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline will be accepted. The candidates applying for technical post will need to appear for Indian Engineering Services Examination. However, the civil service exam will be held for recruitment to the non-technical post.
