What kind of missions do MARSOC Marines do?

MARSOC deploys scalable, tailorable special operations forces all over the world, to conduct direct action, special reconnaissance, and foreign internal defense. MARSOC has also been directed to conduct counter-terrorism and information operations, in light of the changing global threat.

What training do recon Marines go through?

All future RECON students must attend a Basic RECON Course, or BRC, taught at the School of Infantry (SOI) West RECON Training Company in Camp Pendleton, California.
