What type of power converter do I need for Thailand?

Voltage converter needed in Thailand? In Thailand the standard voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. You cannot use your electric appliances in Thailand without a voltage converter, because the standard voltage in Thailand (220 V) is higher than in the United States of America (120 V).

What is the difference between a travel converter and adapter?

The big difference between an adapter and a converter is electricity.
