What was in the leg bag D-Day?

The drop bag was a reinforced canvas kit bag attached by a rope or strop to the parachute haress and strapped to one of the paratroopers legs. It contained the soldiers main weapon (SMG, rifle or LMG), pack, any special equipment needed for his mission and his share of the units ammunition reserve.
