When I install my graphics drivers screen goes black?

The black screen after installing graphics card driver problems usually occurs due to faulty GPU drivers and insufficient power supply. In some instances, you may have to troubleshoot your GPU for hardware failure as well.

How do I fix No AMD graphics driver is installed or AMD driver is not functioning properly?

To do so:

  1. Go to Safe Mode.
  2. In Device Manager, under category “Display adapters”, right-click on AMD Graphics device and click Uninstall.
  3. Windows will prompt you to confirm the uninstallation.
  4. Reboot Windows.
  5. After rebooting, if you still get this error, try to perform a clean install of AMD drivers again.

How do I fix AMD Radeon software not compatible?

Fix 1. Update the Radeon Settings Application

  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows + R key to open the Run box.
  2. Type appwiz.
  3. Right-click AMD Software from the list and select Uninstall.
  4. Click Yes to proceed.
  5. Open your Windows Store and search for AMD Radeon Settings Lite.
  6. Download the application.
